Your Friday the 13th Luncheon Adventure begins with lunch, followed by a book discussion, Q&A, and signing by the author for her new book, Believing the Lie.

About the Book and Author

In Believing the Lie, George brings back series favorites Barbara Havers, Deborah St. James, and of course, Lynley himself, who, at the request of the wealthy and influential Bernard Fairclough, is sent undercover to investigate the death of the man’s nephew. The death has been ruled an accidental drowning and, although nothing suggests otherwise, Lynley decides to dig into the Fairclough family, which provides more convoluted at every step, and they soon discover that each family member has his own motive for the killing, and are cracking under the weight of their own secrets.
